Martin Trillaud

Holder of two Master’s degrees in performance and chamber music, obtained in 2014 and 2016 in the classes of Claude Delangle and David Walter at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, Martin Trillaud expresses himself through various facets of music.

First, he won several first prizes in international competitions in France and abroad, including the prestigious Osaka International Chamber Music Competition. He also performs with several orchestras such as the Orchestre des Lauréats du Conservatoire, the Musique Principale de l'Armée de l'Air, the Orchestre National de Lille, the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, as well as in numerous festivals in France and abroad.

Passionate about chamber music, he plays the baritone saxophone in the Yendo Quartet, which released its first album “Utopico” in 2016 under the Gaya label, featuring popular music themes around the works of E. Granados and L. Naón.

Curious about the sounds of his instrument and enthusiastic about all saxophones, he founded the Aeris Trio with Corentin Morvan on saxhorn and Lucie Troger on piano. This exploration of the sounds of Adolphe Sax’s instruments led him to create new repertoire for this ensemble.

Martin is also in charge of artistic relations within Vandoren Paris, a manufacturer of saxophone and clarinet mouthpieces and reeds. This role allows him to meet musicians from all backgrounds—classical, jazz, symphony orchestras, soloists, traditional music. This highly educational work also involves research and development of new products.

In 2017, he founded Web Artist Media with Valentin Couineau. Focused on creating photos, videos, recordings, and albums, they aim to help artists by offering a complete and professional media portfolio for their promotion (competitions, social networks, websites, agents...).

The year 2020 will see the release of his first solo album “ICI”, featuring transcriptions and original works composed by Claude Debussy, Gabriel Philippot, Gilles Silvestrini, and Igor Stravinsky.
