Milan Savić

Milan Savić received his master's degree in saxophone from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in the class of Prof. Gordan Tudor, and his clarinet degree from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of Prof. Ante Grgin. During his musical development, he attended many schools and seminars with renowned professors abroad.

Milan is professor of saxophone at the Faculty of Music - University of Arts in Belgrade. He held master classes in the country and abroad: Alpen Classica Fest and Monopoly Sax Fest in Italy, Olimpic Sax Fest in Greece, University of Hartford in the USA. He performed as a soloist at the festivals throughout Serbia and had a series of concerts in France, Italy and the USA. He performed as a soloist with the Belgrade Philharmonic, Rts Symphony Orchestra, Metamorfozis chamber orchestra, recorded for Radio Belgrade and premiered compositions by Petar Stojanović, Ivan Jevtić, Ivan Brkljačić, Aleksandar Sedlar, Ante Grgin and others. As an orchestral musician, he is engaged in the orchestras of the Belgrade Philharmonic and the RTS Symphony Orchestra, with whom he performs at concerts and tours in the country and abroad.

He is the founder and director of the international saxophone festival - Belgrade Saxperience, which aims to educate young saxophonists, enrich the saxophone repertoire, promote the various possibilities of the saxophone and host the most important saxophonists of today. Milan Savić is awarded with the French Order - Knight of Arts by the Ministry of Culture and Literature of France.
