Introductory note
Dear teachers, students and saxophone-lovers,
Serbian Saxophone Society is inviting you to take part in SAXPERIENCE COMPETITION 2023, an international saxophone contest.
The main idea behind this event is to bring all of you – saxophone players, students and teachers, and lovers of the sound of saxophone– together in one place. All teachers whose students are participating in this year’s competition, may join the jury. This way, interacting with their colleagues and exchanging experiences, they can directly contribute to the advancement of musical interpretations and the improvement of saxophone studies at all levels.
We decided to organise Saxperience Competition to mark the 10th anniversary of the annual Belgrade Saxperience, festival which has been at the center of attention of saxophone-lovers since its inception.
It should be noted that in Serbia there is no competition of this sort, focused solely on bringing together saxophone players, their performance and the study of this noble instrument.
The competition will be held on December 17, 2023, at the Stanislav Binicki music school performance hall, on Bulevar Zorana Djindjica 152a, New Belgrade.
If you have any additional questions, please contact Jovana Stojanovic, the award jury secretary and competition coordinator, at competition@saxperience.rs
Sincerely,
Milan Savic
Director of the Competition
